#10: Country Kitchen
Country Kitchen is a chain of restaurants that gives you a taste of Mama’s home cooking. It had humble beginnings as a Cincinnati burger stand and became a chain by 1958. But in the 2000s, it saw a steep decline, with 200 locations closed in that decade. I don’t know if it’s because of changing owners or poor marketing, but it’s a shame. It’s still around, so if you see one, grab yourself a burger or some pancakes.
