Universal Studios Orlando, Florida
Universal Studios in Florida is probably not the first place you think of when it comes to Mardi Gras, but it is gaining in popularity. Their seven-week-long version of Mardi Gras celebrations is Florida’s biggest party. There is a parade every night with floats to represent Mardi Gras celebrations all over the world, performers, beads, traditional Cajun food, and even weekly live pop concerts.
The culinary team researches the traditional food from celebrations from places like New Orleans, Rio de Janeiro, and Trinidad to deliver food inspired from around the world. There is also an area dedicated to kid-friendly viewing for parents to watch the festivities with their children. The events are held during park hours and have something for everyone to enjoy.
