#9: Western Sizzlin’ (1962-Present, But Rare)
Western Sizzlin’ was founded in 1962 in Augusta, Georgia. Its founder, Nicholas Pascarella, was looking for cheap land to build a restaurant, and due to a twist of fate (a flat tire,) he chose Augusta. Sixty years later, it’s still around as a steakhouse and buffet, but there are only around 48 locations left. Also, it’s technically spelled as WesterN SizzliN, but who does that?
