#2: Ponderosa Steakhouse (1965-Present, But Rare)
Ponderosa Steakhouse was founded in 1965 and named after the Ponderosa Ranch in Bonanza. Funny enough, the Bonanza Steakhouse chain was founded two years prior. Nowadays, both are the same restaurant but with different names. Besides being a traditional steakhouse, they also have a buffet with fried chicken, sweet potato casserole, and a whole bunch of other goodies. Sadly, these are rare nowadays. There are only a dozen Ponderosa locations left, and I don’t know if all of them have the buffet option.
