#16: Sirloin Stockade

As the name suggests, Sirloin Stockade became famous for its Sirloin steak, its grilled chicken recipe, and its Texas toast topped with cinnamon butter. They opened their first restaurant in 1966 in Oklahoma and, in their peak, they operated over 80 restaurants in the U.S. and in Mexico. While people enjoyed their steaks and the rich buffet they offered, they’ve been on the decline in recent years, and as of 2024, there were only 9 locations left in Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
