It is safe to say that there are some things that exist in the world today that we probably wouldn’t be able to live without. And even though we wouldn’t have known about these particular things if they had never been invented, we’re pretty sure we would have been able to feel the missing void in our lives.

Can you imagine if potato chips had never been invented? What would we do on a daily basis? Well, African American chef George Crum accidentally sliced french fries a little too thin and went on to fry them despite the customer’s order, and low and behold, the potato chip was invented. It is safe to say that, as a people, we are forever indebted to Geroge Crum.
