#27: Idina Menzel
Even if you haven’t seen the Disney movie yourself (although we find that hard to believe), you’re probably pretty familiar with Frozen, considering its huge success ever since the first movie came out in 2013. Of course, Disney chose their cast wisely. They cast Broadway star and film actress Idina Menzel to play Elsa, the Queen of Arendelle.
Menzel brought both her beautiful singing voice and her acting chops to the role of Else, which helped Frozen become the highest-grossing animated film of all time. It won two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe, and two Academy Awards. Plus, Menzel’s single “Let It Go” from Frozen reached number five on the Billboard chart.
