Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland first worked together in Captain Blood in 1935, a Warner Bros. production that turned Flynn into a leading star. They reunited for The Charge of the Light Brigade in 1936 and later for The Adventures of Robin Hood in 1938, which won three Academy Awards. Their final film together was They Died with Their Boots On in 1941. De Havilland went on to win two Academy Awards for Best Actress, while Flynn remained closely tied to the adventure genre throughout his career.
