#15: Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy with Mae Busch

Mae Busch became a familiar face alongside Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy in the late 1920s, often stepping in as the spark that set everything off. She appeared in Their Purple Moment (1928) and Our Wife (1930), bringing a sharp edge to their domestic chaos. By the time Sons of the Desert (1933) rolled around, her presence was a part of the formula. Busch returned across several shorts and features throughout the 1930s, adding that extra layer of conflict the duo thrived on.
