#11: James Cagney & Joan Blondell
James Cagney and Joan Blondell got their start together at Warner Bros. with Sinners’ Holiday (1930), right as the studio leaned into sharper, fast-moving stories. Their chemistry clicked in The Public Enemy (1931) and Blonde Crazy later that same year, setting the tone for several early 1930s pairings. After a break, they reunited for The Oklahoma Kid (1939), their final film together.
