A Lifesaving ‘Nap’
Sometimes, we will do whatever it takes to get out of going somewhere. It’s not that we are worried something bad will happen or have a gut feeling – sometimes, there are places we genuinely don’t want to go. For this person, that place was church. They wanted to stay home instead of going to Sunday mass.
Their mother is a very religious Catholic woman who dragged them to church every Sunday. On this particular Sunday, to get out of going to church, this person took a long ‘nap’ and didn’t get up, causing them to stay home. During the mass their mother had wanted to attend, the church was bombed by terrorists.
