Nairobi, Kenya

Excerpt from Wikipedia: Nairobi is one of the most prominent cities in Africa, both politically and financially. Gaborone, Botswana
Another beautiful city in the Southern part of Africa. Gaborone, the capital of Botswana enjoys political stability and economic strength, partly because it is one of the largest rough diamond producers in the world. But don’t expect to pick a diamond on the street 😀

Abuja is the most developed city in Western Africa and second most beautiful city in Africa. Beyond it’s beauty and development, Abuja is among the richest city in Africa, not by GDP, but in terms of cash flows.
Cape Town, South Africa
It is not for nothing that both The New York Times and The Telegraph named Cape Town in 2014 as the best place to visit in the world.
Cape Town has rich European history and was largely developed by it’s European colonial masters. It’s well developed infrastructures in second to none in Africa and among the best in the world.

Cape Town was NOT only developed by colonial masters. The skycrapers, roads, highways and the infrastruture you see in Cape Town and in the rest of South Africa was built by the hands, blood and sweat of Black South Africans. Please refrain from minimising the huge contribution of Black South Africans to their own country. The colonial “masters” got rich off the labour and intellect of the native people.

One more thing to note. Africa is extremely rich in oil , more than the arabs in fact. Africa’s next economic boom will soon come :).

I agree with the above, but here’s my opinion. We can have buildings made of gold as well as streets embedded with diamonds but will that civilise a culture into those of a European descent or American descent? That won’t happen! Unless we want the world to notice us and feel comfortable around us,we have to conform to a standard of living! It’s impossible in Africa now because we showed the world our standards! Stop being 3rd world in a city world class! It makes no sense. Let the world see us as civilised people and not poor starving servants. We have potential but….its all up to you reading this! God bless.
