This is not What Any of Us were Expecting at All.
There is nothing more awkward or embarrassing than trying to navigate the dating world while you’re still in high school. To make it even more difficult, the pressure that comes with trying to be unique can make it even more challenging to know how to approach a person. What a wonderful opportunity for two people who are really close to one another to cultivate a compulsion against the other… It’s not like this guy’s best friend doesn’t already have an inferiority complex about how they look; it’s just that they don’t show it as much. If you don’t come clean with the person you’re interested in right away, you can’t expect a healthy connection to develop between the two of you.
Nothing will make you feel more frustrated than when a school decides to take something away from you or ban you to have it because of anything that happened with another kid. Even while this is most likely done for the benefit of other children, it doesn’t make the situation any less frustrating, does it? Taking away the kid’s access to the vending machine was not adequate because the student who was wounded was also one of the most notable athletes at the school. To be fair, being squished to death by the combined weight of an entire vending machine has had to be one of the worse nightmares that can possibly be imagined.
