One of the things that perhaps changed the most over the years is people’s dress and modesty. This photo from 1905 shows the visitors of the Jersey shore enjoying a sunny day fully clothed! And notice how fancy their attire is.
Can you imagine anyone these days hitting the beach dressed so nicely? Today you can hardly find anyone dressed so elegantly to restaurants or operas, not to mention the beach.
