Libraries today aren’t as popular as they once were, because sadly books aren’t as popular as they used to be. But the New York Public Library is not an ordinary library, and it’s still as popular today as it was back in the 1900’s.
The library was built in 1900, following an intense fight over who would be the luckiest architect that gets the honor to design it. This photo depicts the library back in 1915, magnificent and attractive as it is to this day.
