Some things never change – as the picture shows, Fifth Avenue has always been one of New York’s most iconic and luxuries streets, and one of its busiest streets. True, all of New York’s streets are busy, but not as much as Fifth Avenue.
This photo was taken in 1913 and shows the liveliness of the city and its famous street. Notice that you can’t spot horse carriages anywhere around, but only motored vehicles.
