“The exercises significantly reduced snoring in our study group, ” said Doctor Geraldo Lorenzi-Filho, who published a research paper detailing his snore-busting exercises.

Here are some of the moves he suggested performing every day:

*Push your tongue against the roof of the mouth and slide the tongue backwards.

*Suck your tongue and press it against the roof of the mouth.

*Press your tongue against your front teeth and force it against the mouth’s floor.

*Open wide and said the vowel ‘a’.

“This study demonstrates a promising, noninvasive treatment for large populations suffering from snoring, the snorers and their bed partners, that are largely omitted from research and treatment,” said Barbara Phillips, president of the American College of Chest Physicians.

“Frankly, this will change the advice that I give to my patients who snore. And that’s a lot of people.”
