Men are Nurses Too
Like any other job, nursing is not gender-specific, yet for some reason, most patients are still shocked when they come across a male nurse. If we can have women pilots and racecar drivers, why can’t there be male nurses? The next assumption they usually seem to make is that all male nurses are gay. It’s an absurd notion considering nurses come in all sizes, shapes, genders, and orientations.
As this nurse points out though, he couldn’t be bothered getting offended with the assumption nor does he need an apology. All he cares about is the condition of his patients and how to make them better…
