They Have to Get Used to Difficult Images
Experienced nurses have seen it all – graphic injuries, gnarly wounds, broken body parts, tons of blood, and other unimaginable horrors. What’s inconceivable to most of us is just part of the job description for them, especially if they intend to make a career out of nursing.
While we understand that one can’t ever fully get used to disgusting images, it must be particularly hard in the beginning when you’re just training. This nurse, for example, forces herself to look at nasty pictures of people’s injuries to condition herself. We suppose you got to do, what you got to do.
