Nurses Know How Much Pain You’re Feeling
Part of a nurse’s job includes asking patients how much pain they’re feeling on a scale of 0-10. They know that it’s not uncommon for patients to exaggerate this, but they’re also not blind or stupid. In fact, it’s part of their training to gauge how much a patient is feeling by judging their behavior and facial expressions.
As this nurse pointed out if a patient expresses his pain as a 10 but is at the same time seen uploading his Facebook status, it makes them mad because the patient is obviously bluffing! No matter how good an actor you are, your nurse has enough experience to call you out if you’re faking it.
