Environment? What’s that?
Even though climate change has affected us for more than 100 years, it was only recently that companies decided to implement eco-friendly ways of packaging. Back then, there was no such thing. The more plastic, paper, and Styrofoam they used, the better. After all, nobody was complaining, so why would they make a change?
However, we admit that the packaging back then made it a lot easier to handle our food. Plus, who remembers putting one of those Styrofoam boxes in the microwave, only to have it burst into flames and set off the smoke detector? Those were the days…
