If there’s one thing about McDonald’s the world can agree on, it’s that their food isn’t the healthiest. We don’t have to look at thousands of research papers to understand that all of the salt, fat, and other mysterious ingredients in every patty is a surefire way to clog your arteries. But in the 90s, McDonald’s tried to get in on the eat-healthy craze that was slowing down their business.

Some food engineer in McDonald’s secret lab came up with the McSalad Shaker. Basically, it’s all of the components of a salad stuffed into a cup. Shake it up with some dressing and call it a meal. Like the McPizza, this didn’t last very long.
