Pictures from Classic McDonald’s Restaurants from the 80s and 90s

December 6, 2015 by Veronica Phillips

Hand puppets nobody liked

Hand puppets were never really cool. Even if you liked them, there was probably a part inside of you that thought these didn’t deserve to be classified as toys. But the 1980s were a simpler time, and children were probably too polite to say no to plastic hand puppets from McDonald’s.

There’s no question that these hand puppets were one of the lamest things to come with a Happy Meal. There’s no way anyone could enjoy sticking their hand in a plastic Ronald McDonald puppet. We think a lot of more these things found their way into a McDonald’s garbage bin than in toy chests.
