Pictures from Classic McDonald’s Restaurants from the 80s and 90s

December 6, 2015 by Veronica Phillips

I am Glassman

McDonald’s collaborated with a ton of different companies back then. Sometimes, they had promotional items for upcoming movies and popular TV shows. The items that bring back to most memories are the Batman Forever glasses. We remember breaking a couple of these glasses on the trip back home from Mickey D’s.

However, shortly after the movie’s release, McDonald’s deemed it too dark and not child-friendly, so they stopped selling these glasses. You can find some of them online from collectors, but they can be pretty costly. We don’t know why McDonald’s doesn’t do this type of promotion anymore, but we guarantee money has something to do with it.
