Better-tasting apple pies

When comparing olden-day McDonald’s apple pies to the stuff we get now, we’d do anything to go back in time. Apple pies have changed for the worse, and we have no idea why McDonald’s would do such a thing. Back then, the crust was crispy and flaky, and they were the perfect lunchtime dessert.

There was even a cherry pie variety, but we always went with apple. Burger King also had a fantastic apple pie dish in a triangular box. It tasted better, but there was no crunch. We really wish McDonald’s would bring back its old recipe.
