Be different
If only the execution was as good as this message. Being different is great, and it’s important to teach young children and teens about diversity, but their shirts seem to be doing the opposite. It’s as if they’re saying, “be different, like everyone else.” At least they let them have their choice of pants.
It’s hard to believe whoever was in charge of this uniform failed to see the irony behind it; and really, having any kind of uniform misses the point of being different, doesn’t it? Children should learn being unique is a good thing, but that’s not the way to teach that lesson.
