Ironic Moments That Are Too Good to Be True

July 13, 2004 by Emma Cooper

A National Treasure

A gift from Canada made in the U.S. That makes perfect sense. We all know most gift shops around the world sell merchandise made in China and we all turn the other cheek and pretend like these gifts are genuine, because let’s be honest, getting our friends and family gifts from abroad is a real headache. We never know what to get, and we end up getting these nonsense, useless gifts.

Even if we all know those gifts aren’t genuine, it doesn’t mean they should write it in bold letters; the proper way to do it would be to write it on the back, in small letters, where no one could see it. This isn’t much of an ironic fail, but this fail was too funny not to be included.
