Ironic Moments That Are Too Good to Be True

July 13, 2004 by Emma Cooper

Oh, Canada

It’s hard to tell because the cake is already cut, but the red frosting flower in the middle is a maple leaf, and this was supposed to be a Canada cake. However, when the cake was cut, it turned out to be a United States cake. Surprise! Two neighboring countries in one cake. We wonder if this was planned, or simply a happy coincidence.

The blue icing inside suggests this might have been planned (why put blue icing in a Canada cake?), but we have no clue as to what they were celebrating with a Canada/U.S. cake. Either way, we think it’s impressive, don’t you?
