Ironic Moments That Are Too Good to Be True

July 13, 2004 by Emma Cooper

Wind Seeker, You Say?

This ride is called Wind Seeker, so you’d assume it seeks the wind, it needs the wind, and it depends on the wind, but apparently, that isn’t the case. We thought this ride was supposed to attract wind, probably to make it go faster, until we saw this sign. After putting up the sign, they might want to consider changing the name of the ride.

Roller coasters aren’t for everyone – if you ask me, they’re scary enough as it is, and this name wouldn’t make me want to go on this ride – but some people live for this kind of excitement. Perhaps changing the name of the ride isn’t necessary, but they should’ve spared this information from the sign. Saying “the ride is closed” would’ve been sufficient.
