For Bearder or For Worse
Thirty-three-year-old Annalisa Hackleman recruited her husband to help with her intensive hair removal regimen. Recalling the nights they would lay in bed while he waxed and plucked her face, she lamented that it just never ended. She would regularly end up in tears, feeling helpless. After one of her meltdowns, her supportive husband suggested they give it a rest and just let it grow.
Tentatively, she began letting it grow for days, weeks, then months at a time. Now she lives happily as a bearded woman, and her marriage has never been better. While her husband doesn’t have any beard fetishes, he is pleased with her improved mood and confidence. As her beard grew, so did their love, proving that wedded bliss is for bearder or for worse.
