A cute pareidolia
Earlier in this list, we explained what pareidolia is. It’s a tendency to see faces in inanimate objects or in objects that don’t have faces. Here, we see a case of pareidolia that many people probably haven’t noticed, at least for those that don’t watch British TV.
If you’ve watched Get Up and Go!, then you probably know who Roland Rat is. We haven’t so we don’t, but according to this car owner, the steering wheel and instrument panel of their Ford looks a lot like the puppet rat. We can sort of see what this person means, and we’re still awaiting a response from the engineers to see whether the rat inspired their design.
