His life is full of interesting facts that are both intriguing and impressive. From being an army officer to marrying Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s life has been nothing short of extraordinary. Here are 10 random facts about this royal celebrity that you may not have known before.

1. Prince Harry was born on September 15, 1984 at St Mary’s Hospital in London. His full name is Henry Charles Albert David and he is the youngest son of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

2. At age 12,Prince Harry was sent to Eton College where he studied until 2003 before taking a gap year to travel around the world. He then joined the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and became an officer in the Army.

3. In 2009,Prince Harry served with his regiment in Afghanistan for ten weeks where he flew helicopters as part of the Operation Herrick 4 mission against Taliban insurgents.

4.Prince Harry has many nicknames including “Spike” which given by his platoon mates in Afghanistan, and “Ginger Spice” which was given to him by the press due to his red hair.

5. In 2011,Prince Harry launched the Invictus Games, an international adaptive multi-sport event for wounded or injured armed forces veterans and active duty personnel, as a way to give back to those who had served their countries.

6.In May 2019, Prince Harry married American actress Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The two welcomed their first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May of 2018.
