Worst Casting Decisions In Film History

July 7, 2019 by David Foster

Sofia Coppola – Mary Corleone (The Godfather: Part III)

Coppola is the daughter of director Francis Ford Coppola, which is why she was casted as a minor character in Godfather I & II. Let’s just say that Coppola’s character probably would have been better if she had the same amount of screen time as the previous installments.

Her character shows no emotion, and honestly brings the movie down. Her performance is definitely one of the most discussed in film history as having played a role in ruining what was considered one of the best film franchises ever.
