Where Is The “Pitch Perfect” Cast Now

September 3, 2020 by Brandy E.

Pitch Perfect first debuted in 2012 and quickly captured the hearts and attention of millions with its quirks and characters. Since the first movie, two more sequels have made their way to movie theaters and our TV screens. While the cast has changed and grown over the course of the three movies, many of the original Pitch Perfect cast introduced early on such as the original Bellas and some from the group the Treblemakers have found their way into the audience’s hearts. Those of us that have loved these movies may find ourselves wondering where the people that played those staple characters ended up after the filming. Where is the Pitch Perfect cast now?

Anna Kendrick

Her role as Beca made her a fan favorite for the Pitch Perfect movies, all the way through the sequels as well. Anna has continued in her acting in roles for films like Into The Woods, The Accountant, and much more. Kendrick has also been seen in various brands’ commercials and plenty of other side gigs. Her acting career doesn’t seem to be slowing anytime soon, and plenty of her fans love the quirky style that follows her through life and her roles.

Rebel Wilson

Wilson’s role as Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect certainly wasn’t the beginning nor the end of her acting career. Rebel Wilson has continued to land big roles in movies like The Hustle and How To Be Single. In 2020 she landed a producing gig as well. Wilson announced that 2020 will be her year of focusing on her health, where she is trying to reduce her weight to a healthier number to better her living. One thing’s for sure, her fans are right there cheering for her all the way.

Hana Mae Lee

Hana played Lilly in these movies, but she has quite a strong career outside of these main three movies. Her acting focuses mostly on TV show roles, but what most don’t know is outside of her roles in film and television she has other skills and focuses too. Hana Mae Lee also often does her own makeup as she is a makeup artist, and she also works as a jewelry designer and comedian when she’s not working on her roles.

Ben Platt

You may only know Platt for being Benji in the first two movies from Pitch Perfect, but many know him best from his role in Broadway’s Dear Evan Hanson as well as his producing, acting, and singing work. Ben is truly a jack of all trades, having won a Tony for playing Evan Hanson from 2014 to 2016. He’s been nominated for a Golden Globe as well and continues to work on his singing and acting careers extensively with a big audience.

Brittany Snow

Brittany Snow remained a constant character throughout all three films as Chloe, who had a perfect place in the audience’s heart with her endearing yet fiery personality as well as character struggles. She moved on to continue acting in multiple roles but recently debuted in her directing career in 2019 with the film Milkshake (which featured a Pitch Perfect cast mate). She also got married in 2020.

Skylar Astin

Skylar was featured in Pitch Perfect as Jesse, who had an off and on relationship with Anna Kendrick’s character Beca. Astin has gotten and sustained roles across many TV shows and movies since then, keeping his career going strong. Skylar was married to Anna Camp (who played Aubrey in Pitch Perfect) in 2016 but in 2019 the couple split. His acting career doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon, and plenty of fans love to keep tabs on him.

Alongside the state of their everyday lives nowadays the cast has discussed with many outlets how much their relationship grew throughout the filming of these movies, being able to become closer friends and a part of their own Pitch Perfect family on and offset. Being a part of any movie that grows such as Pitch Perfect has and is able to consistently draw in a large audience can have a massive impact on the lives of the cast, but it’s interesting to know how they move forward after a project like this.
