It’s Out of the Question to Do That Next One.
In spite of their outward appearance, the majority of the tales contained in this book concerning wedding mishaps are not very likely to have much of an effect on the dispositions of the attendees. On the other hand, this one has the potential to kick off a rivalry that will last for many generations to come. A family that was not invited to the wedding ended up eating the entire wedding cake, which meant that the happy couple did not get their fair piece.
In addition, it does not appear that any apologies were offered in response to the explanation that was provided. There was no offer made to the consumer to either replace the cake or give a refund. They were the icing on the cake. We can only hope that particular family is happy, seeing as how they won’t have very many more chances to be so in the years to come.
