While celebrity life is full of hustle and bustle to make it big; often there are actually many celebrities that prefer to live a much quieter and introverted life when they’re able to. It’s not really necessary to always be present and loud in the world for success and that’s quite the case for some famous folk we look up to or see in the media. What celebrities tend to live quieter once they’re off of television and social media? Here are some of the quietest celebs in television for your reading pleasure.

Will Ferrell

Even though he makes a living off of comedy and acting, Ferrell was definitely extremely shy in college and younger years. He had to work through publicly embarrassing himself to get used to and prepared for comedy as well as to get out of his shell some, but even today most that interact with him have mentioned he still is quite soft-spoken and exudes shy energy often.

Johnny Carson

Starting off with a throwback, Johnny Carson was well known for his work on television especially as a host of the “Tonight Show” back in the mid-1900s until 1990s. But he in fact was quite openly shy about his fame, and many that worked with him or interviewed him were surprised at the modesty and quiet energy the entertainer gave off.

Amy Schumer

Comedian and actress Amy Schumer does still enjoy getting out and sharing her comedy and opinions with the world, but is openly honest that she does need the time to be an introvert and be with herself to recharge. She talks about how other humans are quite literally energy vampires for her, and she just carefully chooses when and how to interact with the world around her.

Audrey Hepburn

This iconic actress did as much good for the world around her as she could, often participating in charities and other humanitarian efforts. The star had her own share of fame from her well-known roles in a few movies and shows, but was always and continues to be remembered as a quiet individual that was quite introverted in life.

Johnny Depp

It’s no secret that Depp doesn’t exactly love being famous, he’s quite closed off with his personal life but does always seem to be kind to his fans. Johnny himself has been quoted calling himself shy, and it’s agreed on by most that have known him throughout the years before and during his long career in acting.

Granted this can quite heavily change depending on if it’s the time for promoting something they’re working on, where a celeb is in their life, and so on; but generally this list of famous individuals we know from TV or other media presences tends to keep quiet about their life and introverted when they have a choice in the matter. Getting success can be amazing for most folk but it can also be overwhelming to be followed by paparazzi and so many fans all the time. So it’s understandable that many celebrities want to stay quiet like today’s quietest celebs in TV.
