It’s time to recap a lot of the 2010s that we loved (and hated) as we roll further into the 2020s. What were the best moments in entertainment throughout this unique and diverse ten years? Let’s talk through a recap for the most iconic TV shows of the decade, and maybe some of your favorites will be here!

Bojack Horseman
Netflix’s original adult animated show Bojack Horseman has been airing since 2014 and recently wrapped up. It was loved by many because of its realness and relatable characters, especially since they showcase a part of personalities and mental illness that we often hide from. While people were unsure about it during announcement, it has certainly made waves.
Better Call Saul
This was a unique spin-off comedy show based on a prequel idea to the hit television series Breaking Bad that began in 2015. This explored one of the Breaking Bad characters in a new light and how he came to be the person people knew and watched throughout that series. This was run by AMC and had many unique perspectives and life lessons.
Fleabag
From 2016 to 2019, Fleabag showed a television generation that feels entirely lost how to find themselves through some hard circumstances with a seemingly bleak lead role that had her own redemption arc despite huge struggles and identity issues. Fleabag drew in quite the crowd and was a bittersweet favorite of many.
The Good Place
The Good Place took over television popularity from 2016 forward in a time many streaming networks and other types of castings were beginning to push out broadcast networks’ original shows. NBC really outdid itself with a diverse cast, unique storyline, and realistic state of the world that drew people in and really raised the bar for television shows.
Superstore
Another hit that may have missed many fans’ radars this decade is the NBC creation Superstore, which focuses on a lot of societal issues of modern times while adding comedy and realism into the mix. It focuses on working at a supermarket similar to things like Walmart while being pregnant, becoming a funny show that still lightly delves into major issues and controversies.

Homecoming
Ending off this list is another lesser known hit from Amazon Prime streaming, which began in 2018. Homecoming actually was an endeavor to bring a podcast to the screen in show form which went surprisingly well and made charts for its great performance as well as scripting and setup.
Now these were just a handful of the top picks rated by multiple sources as the best and most loved television shows that aired throughout the decade of the 2010s. You most likely have already thought of others that may have landed on that list for you personally, but these are undeniably loved by many even to this day.
