The Incredible Hulk has had many movie and TV remakes since its comic book creation, with the Avenger we know and love played by Mark Ruffalo only the latest iteration. One of the earliest actors to take on the role was Lou Ferrigno in the 1970s. Not the Hulk’s finest hour, it was about as cheesy as all 1970s superhero movies.
In the 2008 version of the Hulk, where Edward Norton played the title role, Ferrigno makes a cameo appearance. It’s a small role, put there as a nod to the great history of the Marvel Universe. Ferrigno plays a security guard, in a similar role to Stan Lee’s cameo in the Hulk films.
