Leaving your mark
Thor does like his big entrance, which is unsurprising for a God. When they do travel between the nine realms, Asgardians use the Bifrost, a magical bridge operated by Heimdall. In a slightly anti-social way, the Bifrost leaves a permanent mark on the ground in whichever place it opens. As you can see in the picture, it’s quite the design.
In impressive attention to detail, when you look at an aerial view of Avenger’s headquarters in Ant-Man, you can see a faded symbol just above the landing pad. This is the mark that Thor left when he returned to Asgard at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
