A Different Age
It can be hard to imagine what it would have been like to live in a time when people travelled so differently from the way we do today. Since all we can see is the present, the only way we can learn about the past is through historical accounts. But even if it is true, we still can’t be sure.
Imagine that the world only had 5 million people. In fact, this figure has more than doubled, and there are now more than 7.7 billion people on the planet. The number of people living on this planet continues to increase, despite the fact that many have perished as a result of natural disasters and wars.
