#6: Do You Want To Take This Guy With You?
Some of these stories have been a little embarrassing, but this has to be the most awkward of them all. For one thing, pastors do fall sick from time to time, just like everyone else, and have to cancel, but you’d think someone would have mentioned the name at some point during this process. Is it some kind of record book? Isn’t there some sort of conflict of interest here?
If there isn’t one, there should be one immediately. If my ex-husband showed up to marry me to another man, it would be a source of embarrassment not only for me as the bride but for everyone involved. Consider the implications of this! Half of the wedding party was acquainted with the ex and was most likely present at the first wedding. This will undoubtedly go down in history!
