#44: A Puppy’s First Adventure
The only thing that could make this story even more epic is if it turned out that the dog was a Rhodesian Ridgeback, which would be absolutely incredible. I used to have one when I was younger, and they are gigantic dogs, weighing up to 120 pounds, but they are the cutest babies on the planet. It had to have been a larger dog breed, because I don’t recall someone yelling over a labradoodle, therefore it had to have been something else.
In addition, the principal receives a lot of praise. Few people would have simply embraced the situation and spent the day playing with a puppy belonging to a fellow student. After giving the youngster detention, most parents would have called home and demanded that the dog be taken up. This principle, on the other hand, is just fantastic, and he sounds nothing like the principal I had while I was growing up.
