#40: Don’t be Tempted to Pull
The sense of accomplishment a child feels when they are able to put letters together to form words that have meaning is incredible, so I can’t hold it against Donna for sounding the alarm when she first learned to read. It’s almost like a rite of passage for certain people. I sincerely hope she didn’t get into any problems. I’m confident that the proprietors recognised the situation and even enjoyed a nice laugh.

I’m sure that was a terrifying experience for her as well. Such a seemingly innocuous conduct has resulted in an extremely loud and furious immediate consequence. Taking a gentle tug on the switch and then hearing a loud howl and everyone turning into a full-blown panic would leave a lasting impression on my mind. I’m confident that she never did that again and that she informed all of her pals as to what the box on the wall served.
