We Should Never Meet Our Heroes
It is advised that we should never meet our heroes in real life, and it appears that this may have been the case for both the film director Kevin Smith and the actor Bruce Willis. To begin, Kevin admits that he admired Bruce as a hero and that he longed for the opportunity to work with the famous actor. Even better, in 2007 they were given the opportunity to work together on the film “Live Free or Die Hard,” which appeared to be a dream come true for both of them.

That is, until everything changed, and Kevin decided he no longer wanted to be a part of the life of the man who had once been his hero. That turning point occurred in 2010, when Kevin gave his approval to direct the buddy comedy film “Cop Out.” Kevin later admitted that if it weren’t for Tracy Morgan, the other star of the movie, he probably would have taken his own life at some point in the future.
