It would appear that Cybill Shepherd is not the only person who remembers how things between her and Bruce Willis on the set of ‘Moonlighting’ got a little out of control at times. Jay Daniels, who served as one of the show’s producers, has since acknowledged a number of events that took place off camera while working on the production. Jay mentioned in an interview with Moonlighting Strangers that he frequently found himself in the role of “referee.”
He went on to say that things changed, and the actor “evolved” into something that was unrecognisable, despite the fact that Bruce began his career as “a guy’s guy.” It would appear that at first, Bruce was “grateful” for the work and wouldn’t cause any problems; however, as soon as he realized he would become a movie star, things began to change. In the end, it seems that those who were responsible for the problem had to bear the consequences.
