#18: The Stepford Wives (2004)

Now, we’re not saying this is a bad movie, but The Stepford Wives by Ira Levin is a chilling satirical book with a profound take on gender roles. The version led by Nicole Kidman often trades social critique for sight gags. Certain passages of the film are tonally strange, and not in the best sense. Great ending, though.
