Unforgiven (1992)
“Unforgiven” was a tremendous cinema office blockbuster in 1992. If it wasn’t spectacular enough, it even won an Academy Award for Best Picture! Make no mistake about its success, however. As little as they may be, the film nevertheless has problems. Like Gene Hackman, whose character’s pants had gaps – aside from his performance!
There were no such pants in 1880, the year in which the film is set when these pants were prevalent. As a consequence of the excellence of the film, we are willing to accept this oversight. Obviously, this is not evident from the scene and the audience is bounded to neglect such a minor detail as the same involves a lot of Darkness that would probably lead to not noticing such tiny details.
