Guess Who Used to Be Homeless?

May 10, 2017 by Kelly Davies Leave a Comment

Shania Twain

When she was a young girl, Shania Twain struggled with homelessness. For a while, she stayed with her mother and her siblings living in a homeless shelter in Toronto. She ventured out on her own when she was 16 and kept the roof over her head by sleeping on buses and squatting in empty houses. She hit it big with her first, self-titled studio album, which was released in 1994. She went on to sell 85 million records, making her the best-selling female artist in the history of country music and one of the best-selling artists of all time.
