Creator Sam Bobrick decided to get this idea in the works, where a continuing plot of the original Saved By The Bell comes into play. The show was taken on by television network Peacock, and the first episode aired in late November.

Many fans have already spoken up with admiration for the choices made in casting as well as the story and are excited for the rest to come, so it’s certainly gaining some popularity.

Cast wise, a handful of the original members are being brought in to bring it full circle. Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Governor Zack Morris) has been contracted for a few episodes as well as getting producer credit.

Tiffani Thiessen is also planned to be back as her role of Kelly alongside Mark. Mario Lopez’s role as A.C. Slater continues in this adaptation but has developed to age into a new position that fits his previous character (no spoilers). Elizabeth Berkley is back to play her role as Jessie Spano who has a son in the show now as well, which is an interesting way to develop her character. Plenty of other fan-favorites and original members have been brought into this new version of Saved By The Bell.

Not only have some of the old loved cast come back into the picture for this production, but some big names in the industry have been cast as well. This includes Dexter Darden from the Maze Runner series, Haskiri Velazquez from projects like Blue Bloods and The 40-Year Old Virgin has a character and others. Some amazing progress was also made in the fact that the show cast a transgender girl named Josie Totah for a female role, which is something that the actress spoke up very proudly about being able to do. She spoke about how little trans representation is present in the industry and how happy she is to be able to be that for transgender youth through her role as well as other roles.

You can find places to watch this series on multiple platforms. It’s available for watching on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, Google Play Movies, and more. Wherever you prefer to stream the show off of cable you most likely will be able to find it.

You can check out the show for yourself through these platforms to see the plot as well as what other characters and ideas made it into this new version of Saved By The Bell.

Many fans, new and old, have already begun to prepare for and get excited to see this new adaptation and continuation of the sitcom that was so loved over 20 years ago. It’s a creation that many of those who watched the show, in the beginning, have been dying to see, and hopefully, with this information, you can understand some more about what to expect from this new idea. Saved By The Bell will be available on Peacock and has already aired its first episode, so if you’re interested you can find it!
