El Rufai wins APC governorship primary in Kaduna state

The former Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mallam, Nasir El Rufai, has been declared the Kaduna State, APC, Governorship flag bearer, for the 2015 general elections.

El Rufai defeated 3 other contestants to clinch the first position on the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC.

The former Minister, who has stepped on many toes defied all odds to be the winner.

He scored 1,965 votes, leaving fellow contestant, Ashiru, to trail him with 1,379 votes, he was the only one who got so close.

Others, Saeed, scored 270 votes, Abdullahi Ango, 25 votes, while Salihu Mohammed Lukman got 22 votes.

It was on this record that El Rufai was declared the winner of the primary thus making him the Governorship Candidate under the broom flag.

  1. And by God’s grace, Kaduna State Governor
    comes 2015. How I wish El-Rufai is standing for
    governorship in my state, we could have
    declared him Governor without election.
    Because election is time wasting, resources
    consuming and all that. El-Rufai, I wish to see
    you in Kaduna state Government House, by the
    special grace of God comes 2015.
